I've not written a poem in years!! But I was challenged earlier so here's my latest:

Raul Plug

Holes, many of them
Dipping and denting
Tales of what came before
really needs cementing
reluctant to cover
but wanting much more
to put on your wall
to cover your sores
glass on the floor
memories all smashed
trying to relate
to things that had passed
failure to stay on there
makes your heart chug
realise all along
you should have used a raul plug.
